Daily Offerings

I’m trying something new and I wondered if you might want to be part of it.

As you may know, writing is one of my biggest loves. It’s what fills my cup and speaks to my soul. Writing is how I figure out what I’m thinking. When I’m writing I am most myself.

So, in order to get myself writing more, I’ve decided to create a personal challenge for myself to sit down and write every single day. Yikes!

And, since I’m someone who does better with external accountability, rather than simply save my daily writing on my laptop, I need to share it with someone. This is where you come in.

Each day I’m going to write about something that I’m mulling around in my head and send it out to anyone who wants to read it.

These emails will go out every single day and I’m calling them “Daily Offerings.”

Now, what I’m best known for talking about is our relationship with food and self-love, and while I will very likely be touching on those subjects in these Daily Offerings, I will also be expanding into other subject areas that capture my interest. My goal with these writings will be to offer ideas, questions and different perspectives on how we can create lives with more meaning, joy and intention.

Some will be a few hundred words, some may be just a single paragraph, some may be one sentence.

    Your words about making ourselves a priority and meal selections and prep- non negotiable, was an insight that really hit home to me. My son has been saying that to me for years and the way you worded it made so much sense. Thank you for your inspiration. I lost 60 lbs on low carb, when I retired but have gained 50 back. I have really been in a self hating stage for months and your words have helped me with 3 days of being better and more aware. (Please think about writing a book ❤️)…
    many of us out here are dealing with negative situations and need reminding about self love and priorities . I have a few key paragraphs typed on my phone from one of your posts and read them several times a day when I get frustrated or hungry- when I know that I am really not. You are a rock star. How about your take on getting up and moving, swimming, water walking, etc… Thank you

    I’m getting frustrated with myself. I go 2 steps forward and 1 step back. I have challenges like everyone else, but to me, sometimes they are mountains and I don’t want to tackle. I’m not sure why not, but I could use some insight and motivation.
